John Larsen
I have over 18 years of creative production experience in design, web development, and fabrication. But it's not all about pushing pixels for me. I know how to solve problems and I like to get my hands dirty. I can draw by hand, paint with an HVLP gun, and sculpt with a Sawzall. I have lead projects for Intel, Disney, Cirque du Soleil, The Metropolitan Opera, The Royal National Theater, Nike, and Universal Pictures.
My wife Vicki Lynn Wilson and I work collaboratively producing community engaged public artwork and immersive installation. We recently founded a self sustaining community garden atop an abandoned gas station. I also record experimental multi-track audio and have performed at the Doug Fir, Bassanova Ballroom, and Holocene.

What the Festival is a unique and daring event focused on contemporary electronic music, installation art and avant-garde experiences. I took over the duties of Wordpress theming, content management and design integration for the 2014 festival year. I also built a lean teaser site before the 2015 changeover to keep the promotion team ready for social engagement.
